Public Hearing

1. Civilian Police Review Authority Board:

Approve 2 Mayoral and 2 City Council appointments from the following candidates:

a. Michael Burns, Ward 13;
b. Joseph Dobbert, Ward 9;
c. Erin Green, Ward 6;
d. Charles Hall, Ward 4;
e. James Horan, Ward 13;
f. David Jansen, Ward 9;
g. Patrick Kvidera, Ward 1.

Action Taken: Sent Forward without Recommendation to City Council.

Discussion Items

2. Civilian Police Review Authority:

Ordinance amending Title 9, Chapter 172 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Fire and Police Protection: Civilian Police Review Authority, amending the reporting authority for submission of quarterly reports to be the appropriate City Council Committee.

Action Taken: Ordinance returned to author.

3. "Get Fit Twin Cities" Initiative:

Resolution regarding fundraising.

Action Taken: Approved and Referred to Ways & Means/Budget Committee.

Consent Items

4. School Based Clinic Services:

Execute agreement with Minneapolis Public Schools, Special School District #1, for use of school facilities and to provide services for a period not to exceed 10 years.

Action Taken: Approved.

3. "Get Fit Twin Cities" Initiative:

Resolution regarding fundraising.

Action Taken: Approved.

5. Pregnancy Psychosocial Risk Screening Validation Study:

Authorize add 1.0 FTE grant funded position, contingent upon receipt of the notice of grant award. (Refer to W&M/Budget)

Action Taken: Approved.

6. Public Health Advisory Committee:

Approve appointments.

Action Taken: Approved.

7. Senior Citizen Advisory Committee to the Mayor and City Council:

Approve appointments.

Action Taken: Approved.

8. Citizens Environmental Advisory Committee:

Approve appointments.

Action Taken: Approved.
