Health Department
1.   Minnesota Remodeling and Restoration Company Contract Amendment:
Authorizing Amendment No. 3 to the contract with Minnesota Remodeling and Restoration Company for a no-cost extension through May 31, 2015, in order to fulfill the scope of lead hazard reduction and healthy homes services included in a HUD grant agreement. (Refer to W&M)

Action Taken: Approved.
2.   Healthy Homes Services Grant:
a)    Authorizing a contract with the Minnesota Department of Health to accept an estimated $10,000 to provide healthy homes services in the Latino immigrant community; and
b)    Increasing the appropriation and revenue estimate in the Health Department Grants-Other Fund by $10,000. (Refer to W&M)

Neighborhood & Community Relations Department
3.   Report on Uncontracted Neighborhood Funds:

Action Taken:  Received and filed.  Staff directed as follows:
City staff will post the annual budget, annual report, most recent financial review, and bylaws for each neighborhood association on the City’s webpage for each neighborhood association before the end of the year.
Going forward, as each neighborhood association provides City staff with updated annual budgets, annual reports, financial reviews, and bylaws, these documents are to be made available on the City website within 30 days of receipt.  Documents that have previously been posted for past years are to remain on the City website for a period of time consistent with existing City data retention policies.
Further, that staff will work with the City Attorney’s Office to review the documents and to determine how to frame the presentation of the documents properly on the City’s website.
November 17, 2014:
·         Public Hearing to consider amending Title 11, Chapter 234 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Health and Sanitation: Indoor Smoking, adopting the Minnesota Clean Indoor Air Act and broadening the regulation of electronic cigarettes and electronic delivery devices. (Gordon, Introduced 10/3/14)
·         Presentation of a report on the background and recent history of neighborhood funding programs and the development of the Neighborhood and Community Relations Department.  A public comment period will take place following the presentation and committee dscussion.
