1.   2014 Green Business Awards:
Presentation of the 2014 Minneapolis Green Business Awards for Pollution Reduction in recognition of Dan Nelson of University Auto; Mark Wold of Martinizing Dry Cleaners; and Paul Oberstar of Paramount Collision for their investment in the health of their workers, customers, and neighbors in the city of Minneapolis by converting to cleaner technology through the Green Business Matching Grant Program.

2.   Public Health Advisory Committee:
Approve the following appointments to the Minneapolis Public Health Advisory Committee for terms to expire December 31, 2014: Siyad Abdullahi (Ward 3) and Silvia Perez (Mayor’s Representative).

3.   Housing & Urban Development Grant Application:
Authorize the proper City officers to apply for a three-year grant from the Department of Housing and Urban Development Office of Healthy Homes and Lead Hazard Control, for an amount not to exceed $3,400,000, with award decision expected late fall 2014. The purpose of the grant is to provide lead hazard reduction and health and safety improvements to 300 homes in Minneapolis. (Refer to W&M)

4.   Department of Health & Human Services Grant Application:
Authorize the proper City officers to apply for a three-year grant from the Office of Minority Health, for an amount not to exceed $1,500,000, beginning September 1, 2014, to be used to support an evidence-based program to address unhealthy behaviors in at-risk minority male youth.  (Refer to W&M)

5.   Keeping of Honeybees Ordinance:
Set a public hearing for June 16, 2014 to consider the subject matter of an ordinance amending Title 4, Chapter 74 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Animals and Fowl:  Miscellaneous Regulations, amending provisions related to the keeping of honeybees. (by Bender; Introduced 4/25/14)

6.   Neighborhood and Community Engagement Commission Appointments:

Subject matter of an ordinance amending Title 10, Chapter 192 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Food Code:  Bread, repealing Chapter 192.  (by A. Johnson).

8.   Proposed Ordinance Amendment:

Subject matter of an ordinance amending Title 10, Chapter 196 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Food Code: Water for Drinking and Domestic Purposes,  repealing Chapter 196. (by A. Johnson).
Requested Action/Action Taken: Set public hearing for August 4, 2014.

9.  2014 Health Department Budget Allocation:
Receive and file report regarding the potential for increased costs for health inspections for overtime, permit staff, mutual aid, and training expenses in support of expanded food inspections in 2014 due to All Star Game activities, short-term community events, and plan review associated with growth in the food sector including the new Vikings Stadium.

10.   Blueprint for Equitable Engagement:
