1. Federal/State/Local Update:

Action Taken: None

2. 2011 Federal Legislative Agenda:

Approve amendment to the FY 2011 Federal Agenda to add in policy initiative section relating to Lawful Permanent Residents: Equal Treatment.
b. Approve Resolution supporting the Uniting American Families Act (HR 1024/SF 424).

3. Metropolitan Council Work Group:

Create work group with participation from City staff, the City Council, and the Mayor's Office, with recommendations from the work group to be presented to the Mayor and City Council by November 31, 2010.

a. Ordinances amending the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to the establishment of City of Minneapolis Boards, Commissions, Committees, Task Forces, or similar organizations to revise term dates to match the City of Minneapolis' twice yearly appointment process:

7. The City Council will adjourn it's April 2, 2010 meeting to Thursday, April 8, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber for the purpose of receiving the Mayor’s 2010 Supplemental Budget Address.

8. North Metro Mayors Association:

Approve amended and restated Joint Powers Agreement for a Coalition of Metropolitan Communities to permit the coalition members to expand their joint powers to include participating in or forming joint purchasing entities.
