2. 2010 Legislative Agenda Amendment:
Amend the City's agenda for the 2010 Legislative Session to add a support item in the "Jobs and Economic Development" section:
"Legislation creating employment guidance for using bond proceeds, and requiring reports, regarding recruitment of individuals from communities experiencing disproportionately high rates of unemployment including communities of color (HF 3184/SF 2809)."
Staff Report: None
Action Taken: Approved adding language to the 2010 State Legislative Agenda as follows: "legislation creating employment guidance for state transportation projects and state bond funded projects regarding the recruitment and engagement of individuals and companies from communities experiencing high rates of unemployment, including from communities of color".
