Membership: Council Members Kevin Reich, Cam Gordon, Jacob Frey, Barbara Johnson, Blong Yang, Abdi Warsame, Lisa Goodman, Elizabeth Glidden, Alondra Cano, Lisa Bender, John Quincy, Andrew Johnson, and Linea Palmisano   (Majority vote of all members, 7; 2/3 vote of all members, 9)

1.   Roll Call.

2.   Adoption of Agenda.
Action Taken:  Adopted.

3.   Election of President of City Council (City Charter Chapter 3, Section 2a; City Council Rule II, Section 1A). 
Action Taken:  Barbara Johnson elected as President.

4.   Election of Vice President of City Council (City Charter Chapter 3, Section 2a; City Council Rule II, Section 1A).
Action Taken:  Elizabeth Glidden elected as Vice President.

5.   Election of Majority Leader.
Action Taken:  John Quincy elected as Majority Leader.

6.   Election of Minority Leader.
Action Taken:  Cam Gordon elected as Minority Leader.

7.   Passage of Resolution designating Standing Committees, including membership, selection of chair, quorum, and dates and times for regular meetings.

8.   Passage of Resolution designating the members of the Executive Committee (City Charter Chapter 3, Section 4).

9.   Designation of the City Council appointees to the Audit Committee (Minneapolis Code of Ordinance Section 17.90).

10. Concur in adoption of the 2014 City Council calendar, adopted by the 2013 City Council on 12/6/2013 (City Council Rule II, Section 1B).

11. Passage of Resolution concurring in adoption of Resolution 2013R-381, The Rules of Order of the City Council.

12. Passage of Resolution adopting a Succession Plan (City Charter Chapter 3, Section 2b; City Council Rule II, Section 1B).

13. Passage of Resolution approving appointments of Council Members to boards and commissions.

14. Ordinances-Wages and Salaries:
      Refer the subject matter of amendments to Title 2, Chapter 20 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Administration:  Personnel to the Ways & Means/Budget Committee.

15. Ordinances-Traffic Zones:
      Refer the subject matter of amendments to Title 18, Chapter 478 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Traffic Code:  Parking, Stopping & Standing to the Transportation & Public Works Committee.

16. Ordinances-Zoning Maps:
      Refer the subject matter of amendments to Title 20, Chapter 521 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Zoning Code:  Zoning Districts and Maps Generally to the Zoning & Planning Committee.
