The Charter Commission reviews and creates Charter proposals with input from citizens, city staff and elected officials. The City Charter defines the powers the citizens agree to give to city government and how the government is structured.

Meets monthly on the first Wednesday that is not a holiday, at 4:00 p.m., at the City Hall.

There are 15 Commissioners appointed by the Chief Judge of the Hennepin County District Court (Quorum 8).
