Community Planning & Economic Development (CPED)

1. American Academy of Neurology (re Parcel E Liner (A), 800 Washington Ave S):

Consider resolution identifying The American Academy of Neurology as an additional 501(3) user of the Riverfront Ramp ( CD Action Taken 10/12/2010: Approved resolution approving sale of land, proposed redevelopment contract terms & authorized redevelopment contract).

2. Mozaic Partners LLC (vic of 1320 Lagoon Ave):

Consider resolution giving preliminary & final approval for a technical correction to the issuance of up to $11,000,000 in Tax-exempt Revenue Bonds Designated as City of Minneapolis Recovery Zone Facility Bonds re acquisition & construction of a parking ramp with approximately 436 spaces and consisting of approximately 169,505 sq ft to be located on floors 2-7 of a 7-story mixed-use building near the property at 1320 Lagoon Ave.

3. Land Sale (3807 - 5th Ave S):

Consider approval of sale of land to Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity, Inc. for $39,600, plus reimbursement of City acquisition costs of $2,335.41 subject to the following conditions: a) land sale closing must occur on or before 30 days from the date of approval; & b) payment of holding costs of $300.00 per month (or portion thereof) if the land sale closing does not occur on or before the closing deadline. The sale conditions may be waived or amended with approval of the CPED Director.

4. Land Sale (1406 Girard Ave N):

Consider approval of sale of land to Neighborhood Housing Services of Minneapolis, Inc. for $1.00 subject to the following conditions: a) land sale closing must occur on or before 30 days from the date of approval; & b) payment of holding costs of $300.00 per month (or portion thereof) if the land sale closing does not occur on or before the closing deadline. The sale conditions may be waived or amended with approval of the CPED Director.

5. Minneapolis School District:

Consider resolution allocating all of its $12,993,000 RZEDB volume cap to the Minneapolis School District.

Authorize Master Contracts for the period 1/1/2011 to 12/31/2015 with Eligible Providers List of community agencies and governmental entities, with staff being authorized to issue Fund Availability Notices when project funds become available, as long as the total amount of the Master Contract is not exceeded ( Also in W&M/Budget
