Community Planning & Economic Development (CPED)

1. Minneapolis Economic Recovery Strategy/Open Access Technology International, Inc (3660 Technology Dr):

Consider resolution giving preliminary approval to the issuance of up to $20,000,000 in Limited Tax Supported Economic Development Revenue Bonds, Common Bond Fund Series 2009, to finance the acquisition, improvement & equipping of an existing building to be used in the operation of the Companys software solutions business for the energy industry ( Also in W&M/Budget Action Taken 5/12/2009: Postponed; continued public hearing

Action Taken: Approved.

2. Greater Metropolitan Housing Corporation (GMHC):

a) Approve amendment to the GMHC contract to increase it by $1,020,200;
b) Authorize reallocation of any remaining uncommitted funds previously dedicated to the north and northeast exterior code enforcement sweeps and allow the funds to instead be used for the regular Code Abatement and Home Repair Loan programs.

3. Tax Credit Assistance Program (TCAP):

Approve resolution approving the administration of the Tax Credit Assistance Program and the Section 1602 Tax Credit Exchange Program as authorized under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Citywide ( CD Action 5/12/2009/Council action 5/22/2009: Approved draft requirements for administration & exchange program funds

Adjournment to Room 317, City Hall, at approximately 1:45 p.m. (immediately following the Special Joint CD & W&M/Budget Committees meeting of 1:45 p.m.) for the purpose of considering action on 2008 Consolidated Plan Amendment #3 re Community Development Block Grant Recovery Act Funds.
