Members Present:  Council Members Barbara Johnson, Robert Lilligren, Lisa Goodman, Elizabeth Glidden, Gary Schiff, Meg Tuthill, John Quincy, and Betsy Hodges

Members Absent:  Council Members Kevin Reich, Cam Gordon, Diane Hofstede, Don Samuels, and Sandy Colvin Roy

3.  2013 Municipal General Election held November 5, 2013:
     Canvass election results for the following
     City Council - by Ward (1-13)
     Park and Recreation Commissioners - At-Large (3 seats)
     Park and Recreation Commissioners - By District (1-6)
     Board of Estimate and Taxation (2 seats)
     Charter Amendment Question 1:  Proposal To Amend the Minneaplis City Charter regarding a Complete Revision.
     Charter Amendment Question 2:  Proposal to Amend the Minneapolis City Charter regarding Liquor-Licensing Provisions.

Staff Reports:  Municipal Canvass RCA; Municipal Canvass Report; Municipal Canvass Post Election Review

Action Taken:  Adopted an order which 1) Certifies the official results of the 2013 Municipal Election; 2) Declares official winners in each race on the ballot, indicating the names of each person receiving votes and the number of votes received by each office voted upon; 3) Declares the official results for each question on the ballot, indicating the number of votes for and against each question voted upon; and 4) Directs the City Clerk to submit a certified copy of the official results of the 2013 Municipal Election to the Hennepin County Auditor and to file and preserve the original returns and all election records for the 2013 Municipal Election in accordance with Minnesota Election Law.
