Green Building for Residential Buildings

The City of Minneapolis is committed to providing sustainable options for metro living. "GREEN" construction is a holistic approach which encompasses healthy air quality, sustainable building materials, conservation of water, energy efficiency and environmentally friendly landscaping. The code provides minimum requirements for construction and remodeling, but there are many options listed below for going ‘green’ which can help you protect the environment and often save you money over the lifetime of the investment.
