Rybak, Johnson: Minneapolis Still Best Location for People's Stadium
 
January 18, 2012 (MINNEAPOLIS)--Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak and City Council President Barbara Johnson today reiterated that Minneapolis is still the best location for a new People's Stadium for the Minnesota Vikings.

"We appreciate Governor Dayton's efforts to move the ball forward. We are confident that Minneapolis, the premier host city of the Upper Midwest that welcomes 18,000,000 visitors a year, is still the ideal location for People's Stadium. And with the only politically feasible financial plan--that relies on no new taxes--Minneapolis is the best choice for fans, the team and taxpayers."
