RFP Summary
The Minneapolis Empowerment Zone (EZ) is releasing a $1 million Request For Proposals (RFP) to spur private investment in four areas of North Minneapolis: Penn and Glenwood avenues, West Broadway and Penn avenues, Penn and Lowry avenues, and West Broadway and Lyndale avenues.
Proposals should focus on commercial development/site preparation and large business expansion and recruitment for employment opportunities. The EZ plans to commit at least $200,000 to each approved proposal. Approved projects must provide a one-to-one match of funds.
Proposals are due by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2005.
