Longfellow Station Tax Increment Financing Plan and Modification No. 115 to the Common Plan
The City of Minneapolis is asking for input on the proposed Longfellow Station Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Plan and Modification No. 1 to the Common Development and Redevelopment Plan and Common TIF Plan (pdf). The TIF Plan establishes a new TIF district to facilitate the development of Longfellow Station, a mixed-use, mixed-income, transit-oriented development to be located at 3815 Hiawatha Avenue. The Common Plan modification expands the boundary of the Common Project to include the property at 3815 Hiawatha Avenue.
It is expected that the Community Development Committee will hold a public hearing on the proposed TIF Plan and Common Plan modification at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2009. The hearing will be held in Minneapolis City Hall, 350 S. Fifth Street, Room 317. The full City Council is expected to consider the TIF Plan and Common Plan modification at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, September 18, 2009 in Room 317 City Hall.
