Alliance Apartments
719 16 th Street East

Alliance Apartments provides supportive housing for homeless single adults. The housing is drug and alcohol free with opportunities for work and community service integrated within the housing development.
This former vacant nursing home provided an excellent opportunity for an adaptive reuse, which meets the needs of a target population. The existing building was converted into 100 studio apartments with private kitchens and baths, plus meeting rooms, social service offices and common laundry facilities. A new wing containing 24 transitional housing units was also constructed.
