Central Community Housing Trust is continuing with its plans to renovate this 19-unit apartment building at 1822 Park Avenue in Ventura Village. CCHT has corrected more than 400 code violations since it took ownership of the property and has provided a new computer resource room for residents.
Renovations are ongoing and include painting and installing new windows, new bathrooms, a new heating system, new appliances and an improved security system. In addition to staircases and corridors, interior common space will include a laundry room, a community room, green space, a playground, and gathering areas for residents.
