Open house to focus on revitalizing West Broadway

There will be a community meeting about the West Broadway Alive! plan Tuesday, May 8, 6:30-9 p.m. at 800 West Broadway Ave. The meeting, which is the fourth of five public meetings to address the revitalization of West Broadway, will be an open house format with a presentation at 7 p.m. Participants can comment on strategies for revitalizing the West Broadway commercial core (Fremont Avenue North to I-94), including streetscape improvements, public art, and redevelopment concepts.

The City of Minneapolis is hosting the meeting along with area community and business associations. Refreshments and childcare will be available. A Hmong interpreter will be present.
