Midtown development continues
Minneapolis welcomes Wells Fargo to Phillips
Marking one of the largest private sector investments in a Minneapolis neighborhood, Wells Fargo opened its $175 million campus in the Phillips neighborhood this month.
The Wells Fargo Home Mortgage campus employs 3,300 people and includes two renovated buildings, a new six-story 200,000-square-foot office building, two parking garages, a skyway system and a landscaped plaza.
Phillips residents can visit the campus’ employment kiosks to learn about job opportunities, or the Home Mortgage store for financing information.
The Wells Fargo campusjust north of Lake Street near 35W in South Minneapolisis next to the Midtown Greenway and less than a mile from Minneapolis’ new Midtown Exchange (the former Sears site). The Midtown Exchange will include more than 300 apartments, condos and town homes; the headquarters for Allina Hospitals and Clinics; a Hennepin County service center; a new Sheraton hotel; and the Midtown Global Market , which will be the city's largest public market.
