Minneapolis seeks proposals to create Uptown vision
The Minneapolis Department of Community Planning and Economic Development (CPED) is seeking a consulting firm to assist in creating a small area plan to guide development in the Uptown area of Minneapolis.
Uptown is home to offices, restaurants, shops and theaters and includes a mix of apartments, condominiums and single-family homes.
The small area plan is being developed to create a unified vision for this vibrant area where there has been a recent increase in the number of new development projects.
Proposals are due by 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, 2006.
