Empowerment Zone grants available
The Minneapolis Empowerment Zone Program is accepting applications for its small grant program. Grants are available to non-profit community based organizations to use for program and general operating expense. Programs or initiatives must either have a direct or indirect relationship to economic development and impact at least one other Empowerment Zone goal areas: housing, safety, education or community based service. Applications are due Tuesday, October 31, 2006.
