WHAT: The City of Minneapolis is hosting a public meeting to get input about the kinds of public artwork community members would like to see on Central Avenue between 27 th and 37 th streets. Possibilities include benches, gateway markers, decorative railings and more.
WHEN: 6:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 15
WHERE: Windom Park addition (attached to Pillsbury School), 2251 Hayes St. NE
MORE: The City of Minneapolis is planning to commission public art on Central Avenue next summer, in conjunction with its street reconstruction project. Following the community input process, the City will conduct a call for artists to design artworks.
