Grain Belt property available for redevelopment
Tour set for Oct. 24 th; conference Oct. 31 st
The City of Minneapolis is seeking redevelopment proposals for an 18,991-square-foot two-story building owned by the City at 1215 Marshall Street NE. The City’s development goals for the property, which is part of the Grain Belt Complex, are renovation to accommodate neighborhood-oriented, pedestrian-scale mixed-use commercial/retail/office uses. The deadline for proposals is November 30, 2006.
A pre-proposal walk through will be held Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 9 a.m. Participants should meet in front of the building. There will be a pre-proposal conference to discuss the RFP and answer questions, Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2006 at 10 a.m. at the Department of Community Planning and Economic Development, 105 Fifth Ave. S., Suite 200, Minneapolis, MN 55401.
