Civilian Review Authority Board
About the CRA Board
The Civilian Review Authority Board heard complaints of allegations of police misconduct once an investigation had been completed by the Civilian Review Authority staff. The Board used the City's open appointment process with the Mayor appointing five members, and the City Council appointing six members. The standard term of appointment was four years. Minneapolis residency was a requirement to be considered for appointment.
The Board had regular meetings, scheduled for the first Wednesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. in City Hall, 350 South 5th Street, Room 241, Minneapolis, Minnesota, unless otherwise specified. All meetings were open to the public unless a closed session was called, pursuant to state law.
