The Civil Rights Commission implements the City's Civil Rights policies through public information, education, mediation, conciliation and enforcement as stated in the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances. The primary objective of the Commission is to promote and protect the civil rights of the citizens of Minneapolis.
Standing Meeting Times and Dates
Commission: 6:00 p.m. 3rd Monday of the month
Executive Committee: 5:00 p.m. 2nd Monday of the month
Contract and Compliance: 5:30 p.m. Commission Monday
Public Relations and Education: 5:30 p.m. Commission Monday
Standards and Procedures: 5:30 p.m. 2nd Monday of the month
Commission meetings are held at the City Hall Martin Luther King, Jr. Conference Room at 6:00 pm unless otherwise specified on the Commission Calendar.
