Project Type:
This is a CSO (Combined Sewer Overflow) project consisting of the removal of two catch basins and re-grading a limited segment of Linden Ave W (less that 150 feet) such that the low point would be eliminated and the surface (rain) water would drain east and west along Linden Ave. Currently the two storm water inlets (catch basins) located in frontof CentrePoint Energy building (700 W Linden Ave) drain an area a quarter of an acre and are connected to the sanitary sewer line. Project Limits:
This project is located west of downtown on Linden Ave W, about 400 feet west of Lyndale Ave N. (closest address: 700 Linden Ave W, CentrePointe Energy's office).
Construction Start Date:
Construction was moved to 2012. The actual start date is not yet scheduled.
Length of Construction:
The construction duration has not been determined at this time.
Traffic Impact:
Operations will consist of local limited excavation for catch basin and pipe removal, street paving and curb restoration. The traffic impact will be limited. This porton of Linden Ave W has a low traffic count and it is expected that traffic will be maintained at all times.
