34th Avenue South Street Reconstruction

Project Details 

 

The City of Minneapolis proposes to reconstruct 34th Avenue South between East Minnehaha Parkway and 58th Street East. The proposed project is scheduled to occur over the course of the 2018 construction season and will consist of improvements to the roadway, sidewalk and utilities. City staff is currently in the preliminary stages of planning and design for the project, which will be accompanied by community outreach activities that will help inform and guide design concepts.

Project Type:
This project encompasses the entire right-of-way and include full removal of the existing street, subgrade correction, new pavement, curb and gutter, driveways, sidewalk as needed, streetscape elements as needed, utility work as needed, pavement markings, signals, and signage.

Project Limits:
The 34th Ave South project is located in south Minneapolis from East Minnehaha Parkway to 58th Street East.
