49th Ave N & Queen Ave N Bridge Improvement Projects
These are bridge improvement projects. Improvements include performing concrete deck repairs, milling and placing a low slump overlay on the bridge deck, and replacing the approach panels and the expansion joints. Additional pavement on both ends of Queen Ave N bridge will be milled and overlaid.
The 49th Ave N bridge was constructed in 1963 and the Queen Ave N bridge was constructed in 1962. The items being replaced have reached the end of their useful life, and these improvements will extend their useful life for many years.
