Project work is complete. There are 4 areas that are on hold until underground utility issues are resolved. 3 of 4 blocks of this project that were on hold due to voids under pavement will be resurfaced in May 2017.

The sections of 41st Street East from Columbus Avenue to Chicago Avenue, and 39th Street East from Portland to Oakland were both resurfaced on November 3, 2016 after being on hold for sewer work.

August 17, 2016: Asphalt mill and overlay work will start on the project on August 25, 2016 and will continue until the project is complete.
August 10, 2016: Miscellaneous concrete work on the project has been completed as of July 20, 2016. Asphalt resurfacing work will start mid-August on the streets near Richard E Green Central Park Elementary School and the Bryant Jr. High School. City crews will resurface the rest of the streets in the project when the gas company completes their work. All work on the project is expected to be completed in 2016, except the area described in the August 1 update below.
August 1, 2016: A section of the Warrington area resurfacing will be postponed until 2017, to coordinate with planned sewer work.
