Traffic Impact:
Traffic will be reduced to one lane going south on 3rd Avenue S and marked detours going north during construction.

Detour Route Maps

10th Street to 11th Street:
From 7 a.m., Saturday, June 18, to 7 a.m., Sunday, June 19, one lane will be closed each direction on 3rd Avenue S between 10th Street and 11th Street so crews can work on underground water service connections.

8th Street to 9th Street:
Starting at 7 a.m., Monday, June 20, crews will begin restoring the pavement where the median was removed. 3rd Avenue S between 8th Street and 9th Street will have one lane of traffic in each direction. This work is scheduled to be completed by 5 p.m., Wednesday, June 22.

US Bank Plaza Block:
Beginning at 7 a.m., Monday, June 20, through Wednesday, June 22, southbound 3rd Avenue S between 5th and 6th Streets will be restricted to one lane. The left turn lane onto eastbound 6th Street from 3rd Avenue will be closed for underground water service connections.
