Intercity Three Rivers Regional Trail
Three Rivers Park District began construction on the north section of the Intercity Regional Trail project on April 15th. This 5.14 mile, off-street bike trail begins in Minneapolis at Lake Nokomis Parkway and ends at Old Cedar Avenue and 86th Street in Bloomington.
Impacts within the Minneapolis City Limits, in Ward 11 will include:
- Closure of the Bloomington Ave Bridge over Mn 62 between April 15 and mid June (Detour)
- Partial reconstruction of Cedar Ave between Edgewater Blvd and E 58th St to accommodate the trail between April 15 to late June (Detour)
- Partial reconstruction of E 58th St from Cedar Ave to 18th Ave S to accommodate the trail April 15 to late June
- Access is to be maintained to local residents during construction
