Project Type:
The project proposes to rehabilitate a bridge over the Cedar Lake Channel.  While extensive repairs are required, the improvements will not significantly change the bridge's character.  Improvements include repair of the abutments and new girders, deck, sidewalk & railings.  The work will also require closing the bridge for the construction season.

Project Limits:
The project is located on Burnham Road near Cedar Lake and crosses the Cedar Lake Channel which is just west of the Kenilworth Lagoon.

Construction Start Date:
The construction start date is May 13, 2015 and should be completed by October 2015.

Duration of Construction:
Unknown at this time

Traffic Impact:
The bridge will be closed.  A left turn onto West Lake of the Isles Pkwy will be allowed at Dean Pkwy to access Kenilworth Place and Sheridan Ave.  Two-way traffic will also be allowed on Burnham Road (over the railroad tracks) between Upton/Sheridan and Burnham Blvd.
