Penn, Penn East, McKinley, Humboldt & Girard Resurfacing
Resurface asphalt driving surface. Penn East was originally paved in 1978. McKinley was originally paved in 1981. Girard and Humboldt Aves N were originally paved in 1969 & 1978.
The project is located in north Minneapolis and is mostly bounded on the north by Dowling Ave, on the east by Lyndale Ave N, on the south by Lowry Ave and on the west by Penn Ave N. Humboldt and Girard extend south to 26th.
Construction Start Date:
Project was completed on August 3.
Duration of Construction:
The duration of the project in front of a home or business will be about two days. These days may or may not be consecutive. The overall project area will take about eight weeks to complete.
Short term coordinated road closures, sudden stops and flaggers may be controlling traffic.

Prepayment is made to the Minneapolis Finance Department. Pay statements are sent only by request and the taxpayer is solely responsible for obtaining said statement. Full prepayments may be accepted only through December 31st, 2015 without interest. Partial prepayments are not provided for. No further notice of prepayment will be published. May 19, 2015: Milling is finished and paving has started from east to west. Asphalt will be completed on 5/21 on McKinley. Asphalt paving is proceeding west across Penn East and then Penn. These projects should be completed by late June.
April 30, 2015: Curb & gutter replacement on these projects is complete. Asphalt resurfacing started the week of April 20th on the McKinley Project and will proceed westward across the Penn East and Penn projects. Private utility work is being done in the area ahead of the resurfacing project.
