B-TAP Resources for Service Providers (2015-2017)



The contracts will be for up to two years in duration. Contract dollars can be drawn on a quarterly basis as services are provided and outcomes achieved. Reports will be due on the following dates:


To be reimbursed, City Staff will request the following documentation:

a. Contract Payment form

b. Category 1 – New Business Development 

c. Category 2 – Targeted Business Growth

d. Category 3 – General Business Technical Assistance

e. Bonus Dollars: Bonus dollars will be available to incentivize strategic growth 

Bonus dollars will operate under the first-come, first-served basis until available funds are exhausted. To receive bonus dollars, assisted businesses must fulfill one or more of the following characteristics:

i. Located in the Following Geographical Sectors:

• Areas designated as “intervene” by the City’s Great Street program 

ii. Or Industry

iii. Or Jobs Created

State statute 471.701; Notice of Salary Compliance, requires that the City post for not less than 90 days
the job title of the three highest paid employees along with their base salary. For 2018 these were:
1. City Attorney, $186,490
2. Assistant City Coordinator Convention Center, $183,600
3. Director Public Works, $181,191
