Application for a Hearing Before the Board of Appeal and Equalization
The City of Minneapolis Board of Appeal and Equalization hears appeals from property owners who disagree with the City's assesed value of their property. The three-member Board is made up of one realtor, one appraiser, and one home owner.
The Board of Appeal and Equalization has Adjourned on May 9, 2014 at 2:05PM.
You may no longer make an appeal before the Local Board. An application was required prior to the adjournment of the Local Board.

The Local Board applicant deadline ensures the Assessor's office has adequets time to review the properties before the hearings. The property review is a requirement before the Board can hear a property case.
For those applicants whose appeals were received before the May 9, 2014 Boards adjournment, you may contact the Hennepin County Board at (612) 348-7050.

Deadlines: Applications to the Minneapolis Board of Appeal and Equalization must be received by April 4, 2014.

- Applications received after April 4, 2014 are forwarded to the Hennepin County Board of Appeal and Equalization.
- Applications received after the adjournment of the May 12th, 2014 Board of Appeal and Equalization meetings cannot be heard by either the Minneapolis or the Hennepin County Boards and will be returned to you.
