Purpose

Advises the Mayor and the City Council of concerns relating to senior citizens. Acts as a liaison for the senior citizen community. Recommends actions to solve such concerns. Advises and suggests programs and activities of value to senior citizens and for the City of Minneapolis.

23 (13 are qualified seniors, a city resident who is 55 years of age or order; one from each ward; 10 qualified organization representatives, individuals from an organization that funds or provides key services to seniors.)
