A project layout has been posted. The concept includes the removal of one southbound travel lane and the installation of a southbound buffered bike lane. There will be no impacts to parking on 4th Ave S or Metro Transit bus operations. This layout was shared with the Minneapolis Bicycle Advisory Committee on May 20. The layout received approval from the Ward 7 office.

The project will be installed following the mill and overlay of 4th Ave S. The resurfacing project is currently scheduled to begin on May 27.

March 31, 2014

Initial scoping has determined that a southbound bike lane can be installed on 4th Ave S with no impacts to parking or Metro Transit operations.
