Bridge #9 Reopens
Bridge #9, the bicycle and pedestrian bridge between the 10th Avenue and Washington Avenue bridges, has reopened on the West Bank side. The East Bank access ramp remains closed due to construction on the UM campus. The east access is expected to reopen by the start of the fall semester, September 4th. Bridge #9 is accessible on the UM West Bank via the intersection of 19th Avenue S and 2nd Street S. Access on the UM East Bank is on East River Road, between Washington Avenue SE and Pillsbury Drive. In the meantime, West River Parkway, the 10th Avenue Bridge, and 2nd Street SE remain closed due to the I-35W bridge collapse.
